235 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />iJune 25, 1953 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Select- <br />men's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on June 25, 1953. <br />Messrs. Lynah, Ripley, Ballard, Duffy and Houdlette were present. <br />The clerk was also present. Mr. Lynah took the Chair. <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the petitions <br />as follows: <br />Alfred P. Tropeano - to erect and maintain physicians, <br />dentists, and other professional offices at 114 Waltham St. <br />Herman Mackay - to operate a plumbing and heating business <br />at 35 Wim St., also to erect a post sign at the above premises of <br />a size 2' x 116", and to remove present loam and replace with gravel <br />for a parking area at the rear, such area being approximately 501 x <br />60'. <br />Dr. Melvin P. Osburne - to erect an addition of three bed- <br />rooms and atwo-car at ac garage at 32 Moon Hill Rd. i <br />James J. Carroll Jr., O.D. - to establish a professional office <br />for the practice of optometry a 25 Bedford at. <br />' Ruth P. Kugler - to maintain single family dwelling at 1347 <br />Mass. Ave. <br />Mary E. Stankard - to make alterations to present single house <br />at 130 Marrett Rd. in order to accommodate two families. <br />Persia L. Ballou - to maintain and operate a scheduled play <br />group or not more than 12 children, to be operated between the hours <br />of 9:30 to 12 noon not more than three days a week, at her residence <br />2013 Mass. Ave. <br />Oscar W. Carlson - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot 140 <br />and pareo��, Outlook Dr., and a single family dwelling on <br />Lot 138 and part of Lot 139, 93 Outlook Dr., which will not have the <br />required frontage. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held <br />during which the following decisions were reached: <br />Alfred P. Tropeano - denied <br />Herman Mackay - granted subject to thhe following conditions: <br />that the property be kept in a neat and orderly condition and that <br />there be no unnecessary noise which would be a disturbance to the <br />neighborhood. <br />' Dr. Melvin P. Osborne - granted <br />James J. Carroll Jr. - denied <br />Ruth P. Kugler - granted <br />
