1 January 17, 1952 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Buildingk on January 17, 1952• Chairman Locke, Messrs. <br />Lynah, Ripley, Redman and Ballard were present. The clerk was also present. <br />At 8:10 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the petition as <br />follows: <br />James J. Carrig for permission to erect a temporary real estate <br />office at the corner of Concord Avenue and Pleasant Street. <br />Peter P. Brusie for permission to erect a utility house 61 x <br />16, at#3 9 LowellSt. as shown on the plot plan submitted. .. <br />Chester.C. and Roger M. Duval for permission to operate a sheet <br />metal shop at #3 Bow St. <br />Joseph G. Howland - for permission to erect a twocar garage and <br />breezeway on #1 W mood Rd., which would have a set back less than <br />that required by the Lexington Zoning By-law. <br />Gail W. Smith - permission to reconvert three buildings located at <br />' #170 Wood St., one into a four -family apartment; one into a two-family <br />apartment, and one into a single-family apartment. <br />Following the hearings an executive session was held during which <br />the following decisions were reached: <br />James J. Carrig - granted subject to the condition that the permit <br />shall expire one year from date. <br />Peter P. Brusie - granted, submect to the condition that the per- <br />mitted use shall expire one year from date. <br />Chester C. and Roger M. Duval - granted subject to the following <br />conditions: 1. That cars of employees shall be parked off the highway; <br />2. That no material shall be stored or fabricated outside the building; <br />3. That in the use of the premises the petitioner agrees to limit the <br />noise to that which is normal, customary and incidental to the occupancy; <br />G. That this use shall continue only so long as the business is operated <br />by Chester C. Duval and Roger M. Duval; 5.
