181. <br />BQARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' June 19, 1952 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Lexington on June 19, 1952. Messrs. <br />Locke, Lynah, Ripley, Ballard, and Worthen were present. The clerk <br />was also present. <br />At 8:00 p.m. the following petitions were heard: <br />Henry F. Munsey - to erect a single family dwelling and garage <br />at #26 Sherburne . <br />James A. Carrig - to remove excess materials from low areas of <br />subdivision #1 MM-uTe- Man Highlands, Pleasant St. and Concord Ave. cov- <br />ering approximately 12 lots, and dispose of excess materials subject to <br />the condition that there should be not less than 811 of loam on these <br />lots when brought up to approved street grades. <br />Peter H. Toumayian - to occupy the premises at 310-12 Marrett Rd. <br />as a c saner and dyer, subject to the following conditions: that only <br />non -inflammable materials approved by the Underwriters Laboratories shall <br />be used, that approval of the Lexington Fire Department shall be re- <br />ceived, and there shall be no obnoxious fumes or odors from the processes. <br />' Anthony R. Cataldo - to use the existing buildings at 703 Mass. <br />Ave. for the proceaaing, warehousing and selling of fresh fruits and vege- <br />tables, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the permission <br />granted shall be for the�term of one year from March 10, 1952; 2. That no <br />by-products from the use nor materials used shall be stored outside the <br />building; 3. That the premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly con- <br />dition. <br />Persis L. Ballou - to maintain and operate a scheduled play group for <br />not more than 10 chInren, to be operated only between the hours of 9:00 <br />a.m. and 12 noon not more than three days a week, subject to the conditions <br />that the children shall be properly supervised at all times, and that the <br />permitted use shall cease with the beginning of the public school year in <br />September 1952. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held at which <br />the following decisions were reached: <br />Henry F. Munsey - granted <br />James A. Carrig - granted <br />Peter H. Toumayian - granted <br />Anthony R. Cataldo - granted <br />Persis L. Ballou - granted <br />Muriel C. Stone, Clerk <br />
