BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />1 March 27, 1952 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on March 27, 1952. Chairman <br />Lynah; Messrs. Ballard, Ripley, Worthen and Duffy were present. The <br />clerk was also present. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />William H. Watson - permission to erect a single family dwelling <br />on Lot i leby Road. <br />Lexington Home for Aged People - permission to increase the <br />facill'Les of the present building at 2027 Mass. Ave. by attaching and <br />remodeling the stable now on the premises, according to plans submitted <br />by G. E. Graves, Architect, thus providing nine additional rooms, <br />subject to the approval of the State Inspector, Lexington Fire Depart- <br />ment, Lexington Board of Health and the Lexington Building Inspector. <br />Anthony J. Betelho - permission to erect on lots #288, 289 and <br />290 Hillcrest Ave. a ā€˛Gunnison Champion Home" Model C. J., in accord- <br />ance with plans and plot plan submitted, subject to the following con- <br />ditions: 1. That the foundation shall be of equal strength to that of <br />the Lexington Building By -Law and be satisfactory to the Building In- <br />spector; 2. That either a gas or electricx hot water heater be used in <br />place of an oil burning hot water heater; 3. That the utility room con- <br />taining the furnace and hot water heater be fireproofed in a manner <br />satisfactory to the Lexington Building Inspector. <br />Irving Currier - permission to convert the present building at 100 <br />Lowell St. into four apartments which would not conform to the Lexington <br />Building and Zoning By-laws. <br />Following the hearings an Executive Session was held during which <br />the following decisions were reached: <br />William H. Watson - granted <br />Lexington Home for Aged People - granted <br />Anthony J. Botelho - granted <br />Irving Currier - denied <br />Muriel C. Stone, Clerk <br />1 <br />
