BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />August 23, 1951 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, August 23, 1951. At 8:00 p.m. <br />hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: <br />Louisa J. Jordan - to conduct a kindergarten for ten children <br />between the ages of 4-1/2 and 5 years, at No. 15 Normandy Road, sub <br />Porter Bros. & Wilson - to erect a greenhouse on their property <br />on East St. as per plan submitted. <br />James A. Lopez - to operate a Day Nursery at Countryside located <br />at 400 Lowell St. <br />F. K. Johnson - to convert two-family dwelling at 11-13 Muzzey <br />St. to an office building, construction of which will not conform to <br />the Lexington Building By-laws. <br />Joseph A. Gleason - to subdivide a lot at the corner of Scjpp; <br />St. and Eastern Ave. by selling a strip ofthis lot 25 ft. wide facing <br />on Eastern Ave. <br />' At the close of the hearings an executive session was held <br />during which the following decisions were reached: <br />Louise J. Jordan - granted subject to the following conditions: <br />that the children shall be supervised at all times, that the permit <br />shall expire August 2�, 1952, and that any necessary permits from the <br />Commonwealth of Massachusetts shall be obtained. <br />Porter Bros & Wilson - granted <br />James A. Lopez - granted, subject to the following conditions: <br />that the children shall be supervised at all times, that this <br />permit shall expire on August 2, 1952, and that any necessary permits <br />from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts shall be obtained; and with the <br />further condition that an exit be made on the west dining room facing <br />Woburn St. which will be acceptable to the Building Inspector. <br />All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on <br />file in each individual folder. <br />Muriel C.
