BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />I <br />June 14, 1951 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, June 14, 1951. At 8:00 p.m <br />hearings were declared open upon the following petitions: <br />Harris Goodwin - to erect a single family dwelling on lot No.l <br />Round Hill Road in accordance with plot plan submitted. <br />Lawrence M. Butler - to make an addition 14' x 30' to the house <br />located at 24 Woodland Rd. <br />John D. Kennedy - to erect a breezeway and garage attached to <br />the existing dwelling at 20 Grassland St., the front line of which shall <br />be in line with that portion of the dwelling nearest Grassland St. <br />John Alden Carrier - to enlarge the existing ones -car garage to a <br />two -car garage, in accordance with the plot plan submitted. <br />Mildred V. Hill - to erec t a single -car garage at rear of lot <br />at 80 Oak St. which will be approximately on the rear lot line and less <br />than 7-1/2 ft. from the side line. <br />' James A. Pratt - to use the existing building at 9 Webb St. to <br />manufacture small wooden plant boxes, <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held <br />during which the following decisions were reached: <br />Harris Goodwin - denied <br />Lawrence M. Butler - granted <br />John D. Kennedy - granted <br />John Alden Carrier - granted <br />Mildred V. Hill - granted <br />James A. Pratt - granted, subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) that the use shall continue only so long as the petitioner occupies <br />the premises. (2) he shall employ no assistants. (3) that only a small <br />electric motor driven table saw shall be used. (4) that the premises <br />shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition. <br />All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on <br />file in each individual folder. <br />Muriel C.
