L <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />July 13, 1950 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, July 13, 1950. At 8:00 p.m. ` <br />hearings were declared open on the following petitions: <br />Loreto Visco - to continue the operation of the existing Golf <br />Driving 79FEe-7Toca ed on a portion of the land formerly awned by the <br />estate of Howard W. Munroe on Lowell St., adjacent to Countryside, Inp. <br />The permit to extend for the period of one year. <br />Carmelo Galvagno - to subdivide the property numbered 64, 66 <br />and 68 o rn St. according to plans submitted. <br />Mabel J. Verity - to erect a single-family dwelling and garagel <br />on lot 102-1 ve., said lot having a frontage of 75 ft. and al <br />total area of approx. 30,000 sq.ft. <br />Auu t Schumacher - to level a knoll to grade of surrounding <br />land locatied withinthe area of petitioner's farm, which consists of i <br />approx. 45 acres. <br />Harris Goodwin - to sell excess loam from lot at 82 Grant St.` <br />' Petitioners excavate approx. 700 yds. of loam from the land, sel <br />ing approx. 500 yds. and keeping approx. 200-300 yds for his personal <br />use. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dat- <br />ing which the following decisions were reached: <br />Loreto Visco - granted <br />Carmelo Galvagno - granted <br />Mabel J. Verity - granted <br />August Schumacher - granted, subject to the condition that tori <br />soil is to be removed and piled, later to be respread on area removed <br />within a reasonable time. Material removed is to be used in the con.* <br />struction of Rte. 128. The petitioner is to give a bond for the faith- <br />ful performance of this work, in an amount satisfactory to the Town <br />Engineer of Lexington. <br />Harris Goodwin - granted, subject to the condition that excav4ted <br />spot to be filled in with gravel and loam to be spread over it to a <br />depth of not less.than 6 inches. <br />Muriel C.
