3, <br />BOAEU OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />March 30, 1950 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's: <br />Room, Town Office Building, on March 30, 1950. Chairman Locke, <br />Messrs. Ripley, Buffy, Ballard, Lynah were present. The clerk was <br />also present. <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />petitions: <br />Board of Selectmen. and Board of Fire Engineers for permission' <br />to erect a new fire station on the site of the existing fire station; <br />located at 1006 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, under the provisions <br />of Section b, R.1 and R.2 Districts, subsection 6(d) and Section 9 <br />of the Lexington Zoning By-law. <br />Five applications of the Gil Wyner Company for permission to <br />erect various temporary buildings at various locations in Lexington <br />in connection with the construction of the new Route 128. <br />No one was present on behalf of the Gil Wyner Company for the: <br />hearings. <br />No formal hearing was held, but there were several persons. <br />present who indicated that they would have questions in connection <br />with these buildings. <br />Mr. Locke dictated a letter to the clerk of the Board to be <br />addressed Gil Wyner Company as follows: <br />Gil Wyner Company <br />252 Box <br />Lexington, Massachusetts <br />Attention: Mr. L. H. Moore <br />Gentlemen: <br />Since no one appeared on behalf of the Gil Wyner Company, <br />at the hearings scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on March 30, 1950, and <br />since questions by persons attending the hearings could not be <br />answered, the Board was unable to consider your petitions. <br />It will be necessary for you to file new applications on <br />receipt of which new hearings will be advertised. <br />very truly yours, <br />/s/ Errol H.
