1 <br />BOA rD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />December 16, 1948 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the SelectmenIs <br />Room, Town Office Building, on December 16, 1948. Chairman Locke, <br />Messrs. Ripley, Lynah, Rich and Ballard were present. The clerk <br />was also present. <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following; <br />petitions: <br />George B. Medeiros for permission to erect on Lot 9 Middleby <br />Road a dwelling known as the Wolsey House, the construction of <br />which would not comply with the Lexington Building By-law. <br />Thomas F. Connors for permission to alter the existing one <br />car garage located at 2151 Massachusetts avenue into a two -car <br />garage which would result in a side yard less in width than that <br />required by the Lexington Zoning By-law. <br />Salvador Cassella for permission to make an addition to the <br />existing dwelling at 97 Reed Street, Lexington, which addition wo►ald <br />be closer to the garage on the premises than allowed by the Lexing- <br />ton Building By-law. <br />Arthur J. Williams for permission to erect part of a dwell* <br />in accordance with plans submitted of a dwelling known as the Wo ey <br />House, the construction of which would not conform with the requie- <br />ments of the Lexington Building Law, on Lots 13 and 14 Worth Street <br />these lots not having the area required under the Lexington Zoning <br />By-laws. <br />The hearings were declared closed at 8:15 p.m. and after dole <br />consideration in executive session the following decisions were <br />reached: . <br />George B. Medeiros - granted <br />Thomas F. Connors - granted <br />Salvador Cassella - granted <br />Arthur J.
