.0 <br />SELECTMEN'S MEETING <br />May 5, 1941. <br />A special meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in <br />the Selectmen's Room at 5:00 P. M. Messrs. Giroux, Potter, <br />and Sarano were present. The Clerk was also present. <br />The following uses of halls were requested: Lexington <br />Outlook Club, to use Cary Hall on February 3 and January 20, <br />1942, from 2:30 P. M. to 4:30 P. M.; <br />Lexington Outlook Club, to use Cary Hall on February 17, <br />1942 for a scholarship bridge; <br />Gwendoline Johnson, to use Estabrook Hall on June 13, Use of <br />1941 for a Recital; halls <br />Boston Edison Co., to use Cary Hall on May 21, 1941 from <br />2:00 P. M. to 4:00 P. M., for a Lecture, <br />Mr. Potter moved that the uses be granted, and that the <br />Outlook Club be charged $10.00 each for the January 20th and <br />February 3rd uses; that Gwendoline Johnson be charged 10.00 <br />for the Recital; and the Boston Edison Co. be charged 125.00 <br />for the lecture. Mr. Sarano seconded the motion, and it was <br />so voted. <br />Letter was received from Mr. Garrity recommending the <br />appointment of the following persons for the 1941 playground <br />season: <br />Center Playground: <br />1 Female Supervisor - Betty Nourse-8 <br />wks. <br />@ <br />$20. <br />$160. <br />1 Male Instructor-Riehard Wade " <br />" <br />" <br />18. <br />144. <br />1 Male Instructor -Owen Connolly " <br />" <br />it <br />16. <br />128.
