1 SELECTMEV I S MEETING April 14, 1941 A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building on Monday evening, April 14, 1941 at 7:30 P. M. Messrs. Rowse, Locke, and Sarano were present. Mr. Giroux arrived at 8:15 P. M. and Mr. Lowse served as Chairman pro -tem until he arrived. The Clerk was also present. At 7:30 P. M. Hearing was declared open upon the appli- cation of the Boston Edison Company and the New England Tele- phone and Telegraph Company for a joint location for the erection of one pole on Lexington Avenue, approximately 45 feet north of Robbins Road. No person appeared in favor or in opposition. Mr. Paxton having previously approved the location, upon motion of Mr. Sarano, seconded by Mr. Lockq it was voted to adopt an order authorizing the location of the pole* Mr. Paxton appeared before the Board at 7:40 P. M. He said the following uses of halls had been requested; American Legion Auxiliary, Cary Hall, May 24th from 11:00 A. M. to 6:00 P. M.; P. T. A., Estabrook Hall, April 17th, 24th and May 1st in the morning to prepare for the large P.T.A. meeting to be held later on. Mr. Locke moved that the uses be granted free of charge. Bir. Saran seconded the motion, and it was so voted. Mr. Paxton said the Legion wanted the Auxiliary use to be considered one of its free uses.
