247 <br />SELECTMEN'S MEETING - MARCH 5, 1938 <br />A special meeting of the Selectmen was held in the <br />Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at 8:30 A. M. <br />Messrs. Ferguson., Potter, and Giroux were present. The Clerk <br />was also present. <br />The following action was taken on budgets: <br />Town Offices and Carz Memorial BlU. - Expenses: <br />e Item ror Telephone was reduced rom Fp16UU.QU to <br />1500.00 and the item for Water was reduced from $135. to <br />100.00. The Clerk informed the Board that Mr. Raymond <br />said it was impossible to get along with these reduced amounts <br />and it was therefor voted to restore them to $1600.00 and <br />$135.00 respectively. <br />Fire De artment - Outia : <br />it was voted o_app mve $700.00 for Replacement of four <br />boxes and for three new boxes instead of $1000.00 previously <br />approved. <br />Public Works - Su t.'s Office - E enses: <br />was.addea ror the 5upt.ls bondl, making the total <br />approved $305.00. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9;00 A.
