SELECTMEN'S EEETING <br />I <br />I MARCH 2, 1937. <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was <br />held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building <br />at 7:30 P.M. Messrs, Ferguson, Potter, Giroux, Clark <br />and Ross were present. The Clerk was also present. <br />Mr. Giroux moved that Charles E. Ferguson be re- <br />elected Chairman of the Board of Selectmen for the <br />coming year. Mr. Ross seconded the motion and it was <br />unanimously voted. <br />At 8:00 P.M. hearing was declared open on the <br />application of the Edison Electric Ill. Co.•and the <br />New England Tel. & Tel. Co. for permission to locate <br />one pole on Bow Street, opposite'Fottler Avenue. No <br />persons appeared in opposition. Mr. Ross moved that <br />the permit be granted. Mr. Potter seconded the motion <br />and it was so voted. <br />At 8:05 P.M. hearing was declared open on the <br />application of the Edison Electric Ill. Co. and the New <br />England Tel. & Tel. Co. $or permission to locate four <br />poles on Hill Street northerly from a point approx- <br />imately 250 feet north of Diana Lane, <br />Mr. C. Edward Glynn, representing the Lexington <br />Golf Club, appeared and after looking at the plan,he <br />stated that he had no objection to the erection of the <br />poles provided no trees were moved or mutilated. <br />Mr. Ross moved that the permit be granted provided <br />no trees were moved or mutilated. Sarano for <br />the use of Estabrook Hall on Thursday, March 11th, for Use of <br />the use of the Town Meeting Members in Precinct Four. Hall. <br />Mr. Giroux moved that the use of the hall be granted <br />free of charge. Mr. Ross seconded the motion and it <br />was so voted. <br />Request was received from the Massachusetts State <br />Guard for the use of Cary Memorial Hall on the evening Use of <br />of March 30th for the purpose of holding a play. Mr. Hall. <br />Giroux moved that the use of the hall be granted subject <br />to a fee of $15.00. Mr. Potter seconded the motion and <br />it was so voted. <br />' Letter was received from the Supt. of Public Works <br />containing data and estimates relative to the subject Town <br />of a Town Painter. Mr. Raymond listed work which could Painter <br />
