270 <br />�e <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />February 2nd, 1937. , <br />A special meeting of the Board of Selectmen w as held <br />in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at 3:30 <br />P.M. ChainAan Ferguson, Messrs. Potter, Giroux and Clark <br />were present. The Clerk was also present. <br />The Board discussed budgets as follows.- <br />Unclassified. <br />ollows: <br />Unclassified. <br />Unclassified. Mr. Clark move that the—"Fuldget be approved as sub- <br />mitted in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Potter seconded <br />the motion and it was so voted. <br />Memorial D <br />Memorial Mr. Clark movedn£ at the dget be approved as sub - <br />Doty mitted in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Potter seconded <br />the motion and it was so voted. <br />Slaughtering Inspector. <br />Slaughter- Mr. Clark moved that the budget a approved as sub <br />ing Inspt. mitted in the amount of $600.00. Mr. Giroux seconded ' <br />the motion and it was so voted. <br />Posture Clinic <br />Posture Mr. Potter moved that e budget be approved as sub - <br />Clinic mitted in the amount of $700.00. Mr. Potter seconded <br />the motion and it was so voted. <br />Law Dept,, Salari6 s and Expenses. <br />Law Dept. Mr. Giroux moved that the bUagef be approved as sub- <br />mitted in the amount of $2500.00. Mr. Potter seconded <br />the motion and it was so voted. <br />Ryder Law Dept., Ryder Drainage Case. <br />Drainage Mr. Giroux moved that the budget be approved as <br />Case, submitted in the amount of $1,000,000 Mr. Potter <br />seconded the motion and it was so voted. <br />Board of Assessors <br />The total amounl--r—e—q—u—e—s—t—eT--w—a—s-7VS23,25. Increase <br />Assessors in salary for the clerk from $24. to $25. per week was <br />requested. It was voted to deny this request and to ap- <br />.rove this item in the amount of $1252.00. The sum of <br />400.00 was requested for Special Assistant Assessors <br />and it was voted to reduce this amount to $250.00, this <br />being the amount actually paid for salaries to Special ' <br />Assistant Assessors, <br />Mr. Clark moved that the budget be approved in the <br />amount of $6117.000 Mr. Potter seconded the motion <br />and it was so voted. <br />
