Mr. Trask reminded the Board that they accepted a <br />bond from the General Constructio_Company end it was <br />supposed to be forfeited if that company did not comply <br />with certain conditions, such as maintaining the property <br />as a farm, put on cover crops, etc. One cover crop was <br />put on last year but that is all. Mr. Trask thought that <br />the bond expired around May 20th. <br />Mr. Clark moved that the Town Counsel be instructed <br />to enforce the bond. Mr. Giroux seconddd the motion <br />and it was so voted. <br />Mr. Trask stated that a salesman thought he could <br />pick up a second hand clam shell which had just been <br />repaired for 0325.00. Mr. Ross suggested exchanging <br />the drag line for the clam shell. <br />Mr. Giroux moved that the Chairman and Mr. Ross <br />look into the matter of exchanging the equipment and <br />report to the Board and then amended his motion so that <br />Mr. Trask would look into the matter of trading and report <br />to the Board. Mr. Ross seconded the motion and it was <br />so voted. <br />Mr. Clark asked Mr. Trask whir the drag line could <br />not be used and he replied that the land was too soft <br />and that a clam shell could be used ff:om the road. <br />10 <br />Bond .of <br />General <br />Const.Co. <br />Clam Shell. <br />Mr, Ross moved that the reviewing stand be erected April <br />in front of the Cary Memorial Building for the 19th of 19th <br />April. Mr. Potter seconded the motion and it was so voted, <br />Mr. Potter moved that the persons invited to view <br />the parade last year be invited this year. Mr. Giroux <br />seconded the motion and it was so voted. <br />Mr. Trask reported that it would cost $10, to rent <br />flags and butting to decorate the reviewing stand and <br />$25. to $50. to buy it. Mr. Potter moved that enough <br />bunting be purchased to cover the stand well and that <br />the expense be charged to the Unclassified Account. <br />Mr. Ross seconded the motion and it was so voted, <br />The following bids were received for replacing the <br />1935 Standard Chevrolet dar owned by the Police,Depart <br />menta <br />F.
