1 <br />397 <br />The Board discussed the purchase of a dragline crane <br />from Hedge & Mattheis Co. The matter was laid on the table Crane <br />for one week. <br />The Board also discussed the matter of insurance <br />appraisal and decided not to take any action on the matter Insurance <br />until next week. <br />Letter was received from Lillian Kearns applying for Employ - <br />work in the Town Office Building. The application was placed ment. <br />on file by the Chairman of the Board. <br />The Board approved the purchase of two new Ford trucks, <br />one for the Highway Dept. and one for the Park Dept. at a Trucks. <br />price of $891. less tax, with Wood Hydraulic lift. <br />Thefollowinglicenses were granted. <br />Chin Lee Laundry - Ov baz4ng Sign <br />Philomena F. Pero - Common Victualler (Transfer) <br />P. Shanahan - Pasturization of Bulk <br />Louis Reynolds - Auctioneer's License Licenses. <br />Philomena Pero - Overhanging Sign, <br />Richard Whittemore - Overhanging Sign <br />Louis Reynolds - Overhanging Sign. <br />The Overhanging Sign licenses.were granted subject to <br />the approval of the Building Inspector. <br />Letter was received from Mr. Kraetzer requesting that Hancock <br />work should be done on the Hancock Clark grounds. The Board Clark <br />stated Mr. Garrity and Mr. Wrightington should be consulted. House. <br />The following appointments for the year beginning <br />April lst, 1935 and ending March 31st, 1936 , were approved by <br />the Board: <br />Assessors - Clyde E. Steeves <br />Elliot T.
