313 <br />SELECTMENtS MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 19, 1935. <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was <br />held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at <br />7;30 P. M. Messrs. Trask, Gilereast, Ferguson, OTCon- <br />nell"and Lyons were present. The clerk was also pre- <br />sent. <br />Certificate of Incorporation of the Lexington Miji- <br />ute Man Sportsman Club relative to the character of <br />Howard D. Fisk, one of the incorporators, was signed by <br />the Board. Statement was received from the Chief of Incorpora- <br />Police in regard to Howard Fisk, 586 Mass. Avenue, stat- tion. <br />Ing that he had lived in Lexington for over twenty years <br />and had never been arrested for violation of the liquor <br />laws or for any other offense. <br />Copy of order of the Board of Appeals on the appli- <br />Board of <br />cation of the Fuelite Natural Gas Corporation was re- <br />Appeals. <br />ceived by the Board. <br />Abatement of water assessment in the name of G. 0. <br />Anderson & Sons on Winter Street Extension which was <br />' <br />voted by the Board at a previous meeting was signed in <br />the amount of $178.00 this being one-half of the better- <br />Abatement <br />ment assessment made, and allowance being made on accountDf:Ass:esA�*. <br />of the fact that permission was given by Mr. Anderson <br />meat, <br />to lay water pipes through his land to avoid excavating <br />in solid rock. <br />The Board signed the abatement of an apportioned <br />sewer assessment for the year 1935 of $6.08 and an ap- <br />portioned sewer assessment for the years 1935 to 1941 <br />inclusive, $5.45 each year totaling $38.15, making a <br />grant total of $84.23 which was assessed to the property <br />of Marjory B. Bluitte and which was foreclosed by the <br />Town of Lexington by deed recorded April 6, 1934, book <br />5808, page 504, land court case #4576. It was voted <br />Bluitte <br />to notify the Board of Assessors to abate the sewer as- <br />Assessment. <br />sessment for 1933 and interest amounting to $15.55 also <br />to abate the sewer assessment for 1934, $11.55 plus in- <br />terest, $3.35. <br />The Board decided at the last meeting not to sign <br />these abatements as it was felt that some technically <br />might arise wherein the title of the town would not be <br />good.
