SELECTMEN'S MEETING <br />MAY 15, 1934. <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held <br />at the Selectmen's Office, Town Office Building:, on Tuesday, <br />May 15th, at 7:30 P. M. Messrs. Trask, Ferguson, Gilerease <br />Lyons and O'Connell were present at the meeting. The Clerk <br />was also present. <br />The Town. Treasurer presented bids on temporary loan <br />of 4175,000. loan to be dated May 16th, 1934 and parable <br />March 28, 1935: <br />First of Boston Corporation .77 Discount <br />Faxon Gade 1.18 " <br />New England Trust Co. .575 " <br />R. L. Day .80 " <br />Whiting, weeks, Knowles .73 " <br />Lexington Trust Co. .69 " <br />It was voted to award the bid to the New England Trust Co. <br />Abatement of $508.08 Old Age Assistance was signed <br />by the Board. This bum will be paid'by the Town of Old Age <br />Arlington and City of Everett but was.also billed to the Abatement <br />' Commonwealth of.Masshchusetts. <br />At 8 P.M. hearing was declared open upon .the ap- <br />plication of Minnie H. Ricker for permission to maintain a <br />one car garage at Eaton Road, Lexington. No one appeared <br />on behalf of the applicant and it was voted not to take Ricker <br />any action on the application Garage <br />At 8:05 P. M. hearing was declared open upon the <br />application of Hobart N. Crocker for permission to <br />maintain a one car garage at 22 North Han"ek Street. <br />Mr. Crocker appeared and presented the plan of the Crocker <br />proposed. garage. No persons appeared to object'and it Garage <br />was voted to grant the permit to maintain the garage sub - <br />feet to the approval of the Building Inspector. <br />It was voted to grant the following licenses: <br />Common Victualler's <br />Alice F. Grafe 410 Marrett Road <br />Permit for Use of Building <br />' (Slaughtering) <br />Ames Holman Hill Avenue <br />August Young Laconia Street <br />Gustave Bunsel Lust Street <br />
