335 <br />SELECTMEN+S MFHTIXG <br />MARCH 11, 1932. <br />A regular meeting of the Selectmen was held in the <br />' Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Messrs. Trask, Custance, Blake, Shannon and Gilcreast <br />were present. The Supt. of Public Works and. the Clerk <br />were also present <br />Commitment of water rates in the first section in Commitment. <br />the amount of $6479.01 was signed by the Board. <br />The Board voted to grant a first class agents <br />license to Clifford W. Wilder to do business at 807-809 Agents <br />Mass. Avenue at the corner of Curve Street, he having licenseā <br />filed three letters of recommendation and the Board of <br />Appeals having voted to grant the use of the premises for <br />an automobile salesroom. <br />Information showing the cost of construction of <br />Haskell Street as $4850. and Franklin Avenue as. $2273.75 Street <br />was f, rished the Board b the Town Engineer. construction, <br />e information was orw.arded to the residents f6r <br />their signatures if they are interested in the acceptance <br />of these streets. <br />At 8 P.M. hearing was declared open on the garage <br />application of Richard B. Parker. <br />' Mr. and Mrs. Parker were present. <br />Mr. end Mrs. L. M. Reynolds who live on Eaton Road <br />Gara e <br />hearfng, <br />adjacent to the Parker. property which is located on the <br />corner of Eaton Road and Bertwell Road, objected to the <br />location of the garage inasmuch as they felt it could be <br />located on some other part of the premises that would not <br />interfere with_ their.. view. <br />It was decided to leave the matter to Mr. Cus to nc e <br />to view the premises on Saturday afternoon to see whether <br />or not a 'getter location could be found. <br />It was voted to grant a Common Victuallers License <br />to Mabel ff. Downs of Orchard Road, Bedford, to do business <br />Victuallers <br />at Manor Crescent, the place formerly occupied by the <br />license. <br />Friendly Food Shop. <br />The Board voted to appoint Chester L. Blakely as <br />Animal <br />Inspector Of Animals for the year ending March 31st, 1933 <br />Inspector. <br />subject to the approval of the Director of Animal Industry. <br />Invitation was received from the Girl Scouts requesting <br />the Board to attend the meeting at the High School <br />Auditorium on March 5th at 3 P.M. <br />Letter was received from Mr. F. L. Emery in-whtdh <br />he requested the Chairman to provide him with a copy of <br />the proposed vote of the Planning 15oard prepared for the <br />appointment of a committee to lay out a financial program <br />for the Town, covering a period of twenty-five or Fifty <br />years. <br />The Chairman stated that he received some time ago <br />a copy of this vote prepared by the-Plann..ng 'hoard.
