Mr. Custance stated that the records were kept <br />in very good condition and that it would mean an <br />expense of setting up another Department in the <br />Town Office Building if the records were kept here. <br />He requested Mr. Gilcreast to investigate the way <br />the records were kept in Mr. Marshall Is office, <br />and he felt that he could make up his own mind <br />after seeing the records as to what should be done. <br />Mr. Custance also called attention to the drain <br />Drain, Spring which runs from Spring and Weston Streets into a <br />& Weston Sts. pocket and fills the low section where a new house <br />it int end ed to be built. <br />He asked for the services of the Town Engineer <br />to work out something that might be done, for a dis- <br />tance of 100 feet on this street to take care of the <br />condition there. <br />Permission was giveft to Mr. Custance to -.work <br />out the problem with the, Engineer. <br />The subject of the Town dump was considered. <br />The man who cares for the dumps reported that they <br />were bringing in material from Lincoln and other <br />Town Dumps. Towns about and dumping on the Lexington dump. <br />It is understood that in Arlington a charge is made <br />for the use of the dumps. Mr. Gilereas t agreed to <br />find out from the Town of Arlington, Winthrop and, <br />Winchester how they handle the situation, Mr. Scamman <br />agreed to find out how the situation is handled <br />in Newton, <br />Mr. Custance reported that the Engineer of the <br />Bow Street B. & M. R. R. Co. was out looking over the Bow <br />Street situation, and he hoped to have something to <br />report to the Board later. <br />Location of The Supt. of Public Works was requested to <br />Public Util- find out the definite location of all pmblic utilities <br />sties, Mass. in Mass. Avenue so that when the street construction <br />Avenue* work is being done, the locations will be designated <br />so that there will not be any trouble. <br />The attention of the Supt. of Public Works was <br />called to the fact that the curb stones dumped <br />in front of the property of D.
