Woe <br />SELECT IS MEETING. <br />June 17,.1930. <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was <br />held at the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, <br />at 7:30 P.M. Messrs. Burnham, Custance, Blake, Shannon <br />and Trask were present. The Supt. of Public Works <br />and the Clerk were also present. <br />Petition was received fromthe residents of <br />Hancock Street and owners. of the property .a.djacent <br />or near to the property owned by Patrick J. Fitzgerald <br />of 66 Hancock Street complaining of the damage done <br />to their gardens_and property by the cows_bel.onging <br />to said Fitzgerald, stating that the annoyance had <br />been of long standing. <br />The Board informed Mr. Gilmore that they felt <br />that this was a matter that should be taken up by <br />his attorney, and that he could also have the assistance <br />of the Police Department to whatever extent they <br />eould assist. <br />J <br />1 <br />Invitation was received from the City of Medford <br />Invitation <br />to attend the "Pateant of the Mystic" to be given <br />to <br />on the Brooks Estate, West Medford, June 23, 24.25 <br />Medford. <br />and 30, 1930 and July 1 and 2, 1930. <br />Mr. Custance stated that -he would probably <br />attend, as this is part of the tercentenary celebration <br />of the City of Medford. <br />Letter was received from.Ralph. E. Lane in which <br />Lane request <br />he asked if the repair work on the concrete sidewalk <br />for repairs <br />that is being .done on. Mass. Avenue from the Cary Library <br />to sidewalk. <br />to the Glidden placd could be carried along in front <br />of his house, inasmuch as there are depressions in <br />this sidewalk. <br />The Board inquired of the Supt. of Public Works <br />if he had -sufficient funds in the Highway Department <br />to do this works and referred the matter to him for <br />his attention, The Supt. - of Public. Works. reported <br />that the sidewalk is in very bad condition. <br />Clapp <br />The Supt. of Public Works' attention was called <br />sidewalk. <br />to the fact that Mr. Robert P. Clapp -:,wanted some <br />repair work done on his sidewalk. <br />Sidewalk <br />The attention of the Supt. of Public Works was <br />near Blake <br />also called to the fact that_he_should_repair the <br />Candy Store, <br />sidewalk in front of Blake's__candy store filling_ it <br />in with granolithc, inasmuch as it is now in a <br />dangerous condition. <br />Petition was received fromthe residents of <br />Hancock Street and owners. of the property .a.djacent <br />or near to the property owned by Patrick J.
