Burgess <br />asking; for permission to have Sunday Golf practice <br />on the Marrett Gardens and also on the Bean property <br />on Bedford Street. <br />Mr. Burgess reported that a State Police <br />offi^er called at both premises and informed them <br />that they would have to have a Sunday Amusement <br />lic <br />ens e. <br />The Clerk was instructed to find out from <br />the State Dept. of Public Safety what form of <br />license they referred to, and to also take the <br />matter up with the Town Counsel. <br />Letter was complaining about ethe vo <br />wateed rpresbsure on ert C. Merriam <br />Circle. The Board decided to inform him that they <br />are now reinforcing the water supply in accordance <br />with the Metcalf & Eddy plans in the East end of <br />the Town, and it was hoped that when this was done <br />it would help the situation somewhat. Next year <br />they will recommend to the Town the reinforcement <br />of the water supply, extending a main in the LowellStreet section. The present low water pressure in <br />that section has been because of the dry season, <br />and the Supt. of the Water & Sewer Dept. also states <br />that the pressure will never be absolutely corrected <br />in that section of the Town until the residents in <br />that section allow a standpipe to be built. <br />nm <br />Golf Practice. <br />Water Pressure <br />Oakmount Circle. <br />
