192 <br />7 <br />SELECTMENIS MEETING - MAY 210 1929. � <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was <br />held at the Selectments Room, Town Office Building at <br />7:30 P.M. Messrs. Burnham, Custance, Chamberlain,, <br />Blake and Shannon were present. The Supt. of Public <br />Works and the Clerk were also present. <br />Hearing was declared open at 7:30 P.I. upon request <br />to the Board that'Mr. Canisius appear to show cause <br />why he has not complied with the Board of Health <br />Canisius Regulations. Mr. Canisius did not appear in response <br />pig hearing. to the Board's request. <br />After considering the report of the Health Inspector <br />in regard to Mr. Canisius►s premises, which report is as <br />follows, it was voted to issue an order of prohibition <br />to Mr. Canisius agai}ist his keeping pigs. <br />May 14, 1929. <br />Frank Canisius. Ward Street <br />Her. Canisius has been operating his,piggery without <br />a permit for over a year. The premises are very dirty <br />and there is a pile of garbage in the yard which the <br />hens, dogs and.ducks are feeding on. Two small <br />piles of waste material from the pig house which was <br />partially covered but not satisfactory exist. The <br />inside of the building is dirty and has never been <br />whitewashed, and he has at the present time about <br />25 pigs. I recommend that Mr. Canistus be given a <br />hearing to show cause why an order of prohibition <br />should not be issued. Inspection made May 14, 1929. <br />Russell I. Fogg to <br />come before then at 7:45 P.A., they declared the <br />hearing open to hear what Mr. Fogg had to state in <br />regard to the report of the Health Inspector regarding <br />his premises. <br />Mr. Fogg appeared and the report of the Inspector <br />under date of May 14, 1929 which is as follows was <br />read to Air. Fogg. <br />May 14, 1929. <br />C. A.
