Trees and busies out on <br />a number of bad corners on Grove Stret. <br />It is intended to cut back these corners <br />as the present condition is d.angerol.is con- <br />sidering the amount of traffic on this street. <br />The work of placing a granite edgestone <br />in front of the hydrants on Massachusetts <br />Avenue, between LexingtonCenter and the <br />Arlington line has been completed and. this will <br />protect them to a great extent from being bro'xen <br />by collision. <br />Sand. covering wa.s spread on several streets <br />to prevent the bituminous from breaking up. <br />Surface patches were made on Massachusetts Avenue. <br />Street signs were erected at Carville Ave., <br />corn^r of Oak Street, Chase Ave., corner of <br />Taft Avenue, Bennett Avenue, corner Chase <br />Avenue, Blossom Street, corner,'Naltham Street, <br />and hayes Avenue, corner of lderiam Street.. <br />Snnw fell `,fllursdav -?nl Sat:zrdav, January 10th <br />and 12th. Sidewalks and street plows were <br />emnlo:Ted on both days to clear away the snow. <br />Moth Department. <br />Gyrsy moth pests treated With creosote on <br />trees in Walnut Street, Pleasant Street and <br />last Street. <br />Park Department. <br />Regular maintenance work carried on. <br />dater Maintenance. <br />About 150 feet of 12" ripe have. been laid in <br />i�assachusetts Avenue.
