Yessrs._Burnham, Custance, <br />Robertson, Chamberlain and. Ballard were present. The Supt. <br />of Public ':"?oras arld the ClQr?r nro-tem were also present► <br />Mr. William H. Ballard presented plans of proposed building <br />at the corner of Vass. Avenue and. i'+Teriam Street, the present to <br />be remoddlled in accordance with these plans. <br />Mr. Ballard is to get estimate for moving the present building <br />bac'- 20 feet to conform to the building line on Vass. Avenue. It <br />was felt that if the building were set back that Vass. Avenue <br />could be widened 10 feet. <br />Letter was received from Elmer A. Lord & Co, stating that the <br />New. England Insurance rx.change has published a rate of 36� per <br />x100.00 per year on the Town.of Lexington schedule. <br />Tr,e Board. signed the order for installation of a sewer in <br />Ed.gewood Road from Hancoc?r Street a distance of ap^roximately 480 ft. <br />The Board signed the following commitments;: <br />Sewer Connections 1177.34 <br />Unapportioned Sewer Assessments 961.70 <br />Nater Charges X1436.17 <br />License was granted to Charles 7. Buxton, 39 Corey St., <br />Everett, to operate the pool room,at 434 Mass. Avenue, the <br />necessary recom-nendations having been received. <br />Gerald. B. Litchfield, 53 Dexter Road, Lexington was <br />granted a permit to erect a one car garage at said address, <br />notice having been received from the Building Inspector recom- <br />menging that this license be granted. <br />A t 8:30 P.M. adjourned. hearing was held upon the application <br />of Eva Furtardo, 38 Theresa Avenge to erect a one car garage at said <br />address. <br />No persons appeared for the application. <br />Mr. & Mrs. James E. Burrell anr±eared to object to the erection <br />of the garage if it would shut off the light from his ?ritchen <br />window, his house being three feet from the line. AFr. Burrell stated <br />that if the garage -fere set bac'- of his 'ritchen window that he <br />would have no objection. <br />The matter was lair' on the table until such time as the plan <br />is presented showing location of the proposed building. <br />Lette° was received from Dr. 71illiam L. Barnes, School <br />Physician, asking the Board to authorize the expenditure of Q100. <br />this year to immunize the school children against diphtheria. <br />In accordance with his request the Board voted to authorize this <br />amount, and the School Committee was notified to th^t effect. <br />Letter was receive$ from the Dept. of Public Utilities <br />stating that the custoMers of the E.
