Ballard were present. The Supt. of Public ':"?oras arld the ClQr?r nro-tem were also present► Mr. William H. Ballard presented plans of proposed building at the corner of Vass. Avenue and. i'+Teriam Street, the present to be remoddlled in accordance with these plans. Mr. Ballard is to get estimate for moving the present building bac'- 20 feet to conform to the building line on Vass. Avenue. It was felt that if the building were set back that Vass. Avenue could be widened 10 feet. Letter was received from Elmer A. Lord & Co, stating that the New. England Insurance rx.change has published a rate of 36� per x100.00 per year on the Town.of Lexington schedule. Tr,e Board. signed the order for installation of a sewer in Ed.gewood Road from Hancoc?r Street a distance of ap^roximately 480 ft. The Board signed the following commitments;: Sewer Connections 1177.34 Unapportioned Sewer Assessments 961.70 Nater Charges X1436.17 License was granted to Charles 7. Buxton, 39 Corey St., Everett, to operate the pool room,at 434 Mass. Avenue, the necessary recom-nendations having been received. Gerald. B. Litchfield, 53 Dexter Road, Lexington was granted a permit to erect a one car garage at said address, notice having been received from the Building Inspector recom- menging that this license be granted. A t 8:30 P.M. adjourned. hearing was held upon the application of Eva Furtardo, 38 Theresa Avenge to erect a one car garage at said address. No persons appeared for the application. Mr. & Mrs. James E. Burrell anr±eared to object to the erection of the garage if it would shut off the light from his ?ritchen window, his house being three feet from the line. AFr. Burrell stated that if the garage -fere set bac'- of his 'ritchen window that he would have no objection. The matter was lair' on the table until such time as the plan is presented showing location of the proposed building. Lette° was received from Dr. 71illiam L. Barnes, School Physician, asking the Board to authorize the expenditure of Q100. this year to immunize the school children against diphtheria. In accordance with his request the Board voted to authorize this amount, and the School Committee was notified to th^t effect. Letter was receive$ from the Dept. of Public Utilities stating that the custoMers of the E. E. I. Co. desire the res- toration of rate "H" for residential power purposes and that a hearing will be held in the hearing room of the Dept. of Public 1 1
