G SPECIAL MEETING, JANUARY 27, 1928. <br />' A special.meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in their <br />office st the Town.Hall at 7.30 P.M. for the purpose of checking <br />the appropriation sheets of_:the..various departments. Messrs. <br />Custance, Burnham,,'Ballard, Robertson, and Chamberlain were present <br />as was also the Supt, of Public Works. <br />Two members of the Planning Board presented a plan of the Munroe <br />property bordering Masa.._Avenue, Pelham Road., Eliot Road and showing <br />-. a street out through from,.,PercY..Road.to Eliot Road'Y <br />The plan was held for further study by the Board. <br />The Board 'looked over and analzed each appropriation sheet. <br />In regard to Village Pall the Supt. of Public Works is to look <br />over that part used by the Fire Department and make recommendations <br />as to cleaning and painting and is to have some member of the Board <br />of Engineers look this over with him. <br />The Inspector, of Wires.,_ Mr. Louis W. Bills, is requested to meet <br />the Board at their regular meeting, Tuesday, January 31, 1928 to <br />explain his duties. <br />The. Supt...of Publi.c_Works.Is to .see Mr. Worthen regarding a <br />traffic beacon .at Waltham..Street_and Concord Avenue, <br />The Supt, of._Public.Works...has talked withMr...Worthen &butt this <br />and he advises not to put one at this point. <br />It was suggested that a letterbe written to Mr. Edward C.
