we <br />,ZEETING, OCTOBER 27,1925 <br />A regular meet%ig, of the Hoard of Selectmen ,,i s held in <br />the Selectments Room, Town Hall, Lexington, on Tuesday, Oct. 27, <br />1925, at 8 P. 74. The following members of the "oard were <br />present, 'iessrs. Hutchinson, ?Joulton, Iviiles, Custance and <br />Burnham. The Supt, of Public ',forks and .Clerk were present. <br />Hearing was held upon the petition of the `'dison Elec. Ill. <br />Co. for permission to place 44 Poles on Lowell Street for the <br />purpose 6f installin; street lights. <br />No persons appeared to object and it was voted to grant <br />permission. <br />Application for a gasoline filling station was received <br />from Luigi 1''errazzano of 15 ''."altham St, Lexington to sell <br />1000 gallons of gasoline at his premises. <br />The Board refused the application and decided not to hold <br />a hearing on the same. <br />Letters were received from Flynn and Flynn, Attorneys of <br />'daltham, in which they claimwages for George '''biting, <br />Thomas `:`biting and _�hil.ip li. Nelles, former employees of the <br />Fire Department. <br />The letters were handed to To,. -in Counsel, Sydney R. <br />7,9rightington for his attention. <br />License to sell Denatured Alcohol was granted to the <br />Standard Oil Co, of 169 :crass, tivenue. <br />Complaint against Clarence '. L:acPhee of Oak Street was <br />made by Edlvard J. Perkins of 75 T,ayette St. Cambridge,' <br />".ass. <br />IIe claimed that horses were rept in r,,hat was supposed <br />to be a garage and that the stench ,vas such that it injured <br />his chance to build or sell his pro-)erty. <br />The Supt, of "ublic '•'.�orks was requested to look into the <br />matter. <br />The question of :✓nether or not a Common Jictualler's <br />License 'should be granted to Hiram '1. ;Mite to do business at <br />445 ',:ass. Avenue, the Lunch Cart, was brought up. <br />Statements of character were made and the board decided <br />to leave it to the judgment of Ir.
