• <br />' ie1EETING9 JUNE 24s, 19240 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen Was <br />held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Hall, Lexington, on <br />Tuesday, June 249 1924 at 8 P. M. The following members of <br />the Board were present; namely Messrs. Burnham, Hutchinson, <br />Custance and Milee .S'he Town Couneel and aee't Town Clerk were <br />also present. <br />Public Carriage Licensee were granted to the follow- <br />ing; satisfactory bonds having been presented by each: <br />John Leary 23 Waltham St. <br />Hans Sorensen 93 Woburn St. <br />James,F. McCarthy 60 Bedford St. <br />Joseph L. Zuretti 561 Mass. Ave, <br />A. r,. Marshall & Son 488 Mass. Ave. <br />John Rose Muzzey Street. <br />Hearing was declared open upon petition of <br />Ernest MacPhee, of Oak St. for permission to erect a garage <br />on his premises. <br />No one appeared to object and it was voted to grant <br />the license. <br />Hearing was declared open upon petition of <br />Joseph Lassof of Sylvia Street for permission to erect a harage <br />on his premises. <br />11r. Lassof appeared but no one appeared to object, <br />and it was therefor toted to grant the license. <br />Petition was received from the residents of Grant <br />Street for approval^aVAhe acceptance of Grant Street. <br />The Board discussed this matter in connection with <br />other streets in the town which have been in bad condition <br />for some time and that the residents thereon have requested <br />be accepted. The Town Engineer was instructed to get all <br />information together inregard to these streets eo that hearings <br />could be held and if the residents are willing to have the <br />work done betterments will be assessed for the benefits. <br />Petition was received from the Mohawk Country Club <br />for incorporation. <br />The petition was referred to the Chief of Police <br />for his approval. <br />In regard to the approval of plane showing Section 4 <br />' of Park Heights, the Board wrote to fir. Griswold that they would <br />approve the lay -out of streets on land known as Park heights <br />No 4, as modified by the Planning Board and shown on the <br />Planning Board Plan dated May 24, 1924, and revised June 3,1924. <br />by the Town Engineer. <br />
