1 <br />CJ <br />MEETING, APRIL 22, 1924. <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen <br />Selectmen's Room, Town Hall, Lexington, on Tuesday, <br />at 8 P. K. The foliowhg members of the BoArd were <br />Aierrre. Burnham, wroulton, Cuetance and Miles. The <br />and Ase't Town Clerk were also present. <br />LLM <br />was held in the <br />April 2291924$ <br />present; namely, <br />`Down Counsel <br />Hearing was declared open upon application of Dani&l A.Gorman <br />of Sunnyknoll avenue for permission to erect two garages on Bowman <br />Street to go with houses just erected. <br />No persons appeared to object, and it was, accordingly, voted <br />to grant the permit for the two garages. <br />Hearing was declared open upon the pole location order of <br />the Edison Elec. Ill. Co. for a location of poles on Concord Avenue. <br />The Supt. of Public Rorke reported that he requested the <br />company to send in a blue print giving different location of poles <br />and as yet this has not been done. <br />The matter war, therefore, laid on the table until such time <br />as this is done. <br />Application for a surety bond for the Superintendent of <br />Public Norks was signed by the Chairman. <br />Edward 11. argent was drywn as Juror for the Criminal Session. <br />Liability policy on the Tractor, issued through the office <br />of Jay 0. Richards, was approved by the Board, <br />Edwin B. 4orthen war instructed to renew insurance policy <br />for public liability and workmen's compensation insurance for the <br />sewer department due hay let. <br />George W. Taylor &: Son were authorized to renew liability <br />and property damage insurance on Ford touring and motorcycle of the <br />Police Department expiring 4:ay 4th, 1924. <br />Letter was received from Clara aL. Barbour, Secretary of the <br />-Jental Clinin Committee, in which she related the good work of <br />Dr. Louis F. Mongeon, and also quoted pay of other towns nearby to <br />their dentist. <br />In view of the good work rendered by Dr, Mongeon the com- <br />mittee recommended an increase of $100 beginning September 1,1924. <br />The Board of Health replied that they were very much in favor <br />of the increase and would be willing to have it granted. <br />Letter was received from Frederic <br />enclosed copies of Chapter 1339 being an <br />Section 25, of the General haws. <br />11r. emery requested the Board to <br />when they received appeals for hearings <br />Board replied that they would be glad tc <br />L, Emery in which he <br />acU tion to Chapter 40, <br />notify the Planning Board <br />under the Zoning Law.
