62 M <br />et <br />LiEET1NG, JUNE 261 1926 ' <br />A regular meeting; of the Board of -Delectmen and Public <br />`corks was held in the Selectmen's hoom, 'Town Fall, Lexington, on <br />Tuesday, June 26, 1923 at 8 F. The following members of the <br />Board were -repent, namely Lessrs. Scamman, Blake, Burnham and <br />Hutchinson; the Town Clerk and the "ss't loom clerk were also <br />present. Llr. Loulton and Town Counsel Stone were bsent. <br />6harlee 1.. Lioloy, �a itor of the Town Ball arae appointed <br />a Special Police. <br />The re-signation of Gilliam Y. Fletcher, Police Officer <br />recently suspended, was accepted by the Board, the same to take <br />effect mune 15, as etated in r.is letter of reeigmtion. <br />The recommendation of Chief Leavitt that patrolman y',illiam C. <br />O'Leary be appointed a regular police officer, was laid over for <br />future consideration. <br />Public Carriage Licensee were granted to the following; and <br />the bonds for came approved: <br />Hans C. "Vs. <br />2.3 +altham St. <br />24 Iva 1 thaw S t . <br />Resignation from the 150th "nnivereary Committee was received <br />from Grace G. L:erriam. There are now three vacancies in this <br />committee. the filling of these vacancies will be made at the next. <br />meeting. <br />Bartlett J. harring;ton was appointed to serve upon the <br />Committee to Revise the Building Laws in place of Robert H. Holt, <br />resigned. <br />Notice of the Delegation of Poorer to the Board of Selectmen <br />under the new regulations of the Department of Public Safety in <br />regard to Gasoline and Garages was received. <br />In regard to the applic,Aion of Hopkins & Lee, 480 Lues. Ave. <br />for a gasoline tank, the Board decided that this was not a new <br />location for a tank, that it was only a repl,ce,nent and that they <br />need not have a hearing on same. The no.:rd therefor notified the <br />Chief of the Fire Lepartment of their decision in this case. <br />Letter wad received from Edwin B. Jorthen thanking the <br />Board for allowing him to have the old liblmee chaise stored in <br />the Old Pumping Station. <br />Common Victualler'e License was granted to -ies Jennie Morse <br />to do business on Liddle St. at the corner of iw'altham Street. <br />I� <br />1 <br />
