'beaters came before the Board to see if he could <br />obtain a license for the filling station upon which a hearing was <br />held at a former meeting, and upon which the Board decided that <br />public convenience and nececeity do not require. <br />The Board informed Mr. Haters that they could not reverse <br />their decision, and that they felt that there were already too <br />many stations and pumps on Mase. Ave. <br />Keil McIntosh came before the Board with plans for approval <br />of Section 4. Farmhuret, plan drawn to the scale of 1" - 100' <br />April, 1923, C. H. Gannett C. E. 53 State St, Boston." <br />The Board approved the plan showing the lay out of Bridge <br />St. Payson St, Grassland St, Valleyfield St. The plan also showed <br />Spring St. widened to a width of 40 feet along his property. <br />Mr. McIntosh agreed to file detail plans showing lay out of <br />these streets. <br />Insurance policy JW 5832 and MS 5833 covering Workmen's <br />Compensation, Town Employees, was approved by the Board. <br />Resignation from the office of Assessor was received from <br />+- illiam W. Reed. <br />Several names were suggested for the position, but the <br />Hoard decided to leave the matter on the table. <br />The plan of relocation of North hancock Street was dis. <br />cussed. Sometime ago the Board petitioned the County to establish <br />the lines of this street, suite a lot of land is taken from <br />Pers. Abbie Fuller and also from the Henderson property. The <br />question of damages having arisen. the Board requested Mr. Harrisoh <br />to consult with the parties where a land taking is made, and report <br />to the Board at an early date. <br />Letter from the Gas Co. enclosing plan in which they inform <br />the Board that they were obliged to make a change in their location <br />in Curve Street. <br />The letter was left with Mr. Harrison to reply to. <br />It was decided to ask Mr. F. L. Emery whether he considered <br />the Board had any right to place eignP on Mase. Ave. directing <br />persons to use Depot Park doves, and asking his suggestion as to <br />remedy for the situation. <br />' Common Victualler's Licenses were granted to Pattie E. A. <br />Peckham, Caroline A. harrington, and Elisha W. Otis for the year <br />ending April 30, 1924. <br />No charge has ever been made for these licenses. The Board <br />deemed it wine to make a charge, and it was therefor Voted, that <br />a charge of $1,00 be made for all Common Victualler's Licenses <br />i?eued on and after this date. <br />
