0 <br />KEETIi'G, Jj%rUr.Rf 9 , 1923. <br />All 11embere Present. <br />The Board voted to have all night street lighting for <br />the balance of January and also for the month of February. <br />The Clerk was directed to notify the Edieon Co. to that <br />effect. <br />It war found that flags were needed for the Town Hall and <br />also two for the playgrounds. <br />?.:r. Harrison was requested to purchase the same. <br />Letter war received from 'Warren E. Hadley, Prep. of the <br />Senior Claes, in which he asked that the entire charge for the <br />use of the Hall for the Senior Clase Dance be abated. <br />The matter was left with wr. harrison to attend to as to <br />abatement or not. <br />Application for the position in the orater Department was <br />received from Anthonyaugno. <br />Application was also received from crank P. Cutter for the <br />position of Supt. of Streets, 'i;ater and Sewer. <br />Both applications were referred to 1:r. Harrison. <br />Letter was received from Edwin A. Bayley, former Chairman <br />of the By -Law (;omniittee, in wt_ich he informed the Board that <br />there was an unexpended balance in the account of w225.58 which <br />could be applied to the printing of by-laws and that he had <br />C. S. Parker save the type so that the same would not have to be <br />re -set. <br />He asked i,:hether or not the Board desired to have pamphlets <br />printed, and the number desired. <br />The Board consulted the down Counsel as to whether or not <br />the committee having been discharged, could supprvise the printing <br />of the by-laws. <br />A Claes 11, Used Car Lealer'e License, was granted to Doria <br />Reeves doing business at 245 lease. Ave, Lexington. <br />Application for Advertising, Signe were received from the <br />State Department of Public corks. <br />The action on there applications was laid over until a later <br />date. <br />Petition war received from residents in the vicinity of <br />Farmcreat Avenue, Lexington, in TM,hLich they ask that the snow plow <br />be driven over that avenue after each storm. <br />They were informed that the only way that they could obtain <br />their request was to have an article put in a ':iarrant for a <br />Town Leeting to have the people vote on same as public service in <br />unacce_r_ted streets is restricted. <br />Class I.
