"-Y 231 1922. <br />All Members Present. <br />The records of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />Mr. Ribok, ,rho is to build a block on the reserve property, <br />between the Viano block and the Lexirg ton Trust Co. came before <br />the Board together with his attorney, Mr. Jacobs, to appeal the <br />decision of the Building Inspector on the interpretation of the <br />Building Law. <br />His claim was that although he was erecting a sec-dnd class <br />building, he could place the same close to the brick wall of the <br />Viano block. The Building Inspector informed him that he would <br />have to place his building 7z feet from the adjoining property. <br />The building; Inspector also had the opinion of the Town Counsel <br />to the same effect. l <br />The Board informed lir. Jacobs that if a let class building <br />was built he could put the same up close to the line of the <br />adjoining property but a second class building must be 71 feet <br />from the line. <br />Land Court notice relative to land of Roy B. McLean and Lulu B. ' <br />:McLean of Centre and Lee Streets, No. Lexington was turned over <br />to the Town Engineer. <br />Kr. Eugene V. Earle and Mr. Hugh J. Maguire came before the <br />Board and requested that something be dons on Wood Street to put <br />it in better condition. He was informed that the Board had <br />requested the County Commissioners to establish the bounds. <br />Mr. Maguire made the request that the street lights be <br />extended on Wood Street. <br />kir. Scamman agreed to go over the ground with yLr. Earle some <br />time the coming week. <br />Mr. George H. Gibson.came before the Board and explained that <br />the drainage system in front of his place at 59 �valtham St, was <br />not adequate. He talked with kir. 69hite former Supt. of Streets <br />some time ago and was informed that a catch basin should take care <br />of the surface water that stands in the section between kir. 11,ull- <br />iken's driveway and kir. Bellow's driveway, <br />Mr. Duffy was requested to look the situation over and work out <br />a satiefactory drainage scheme and report to the Board on same. <br />In regard to the $3500 insurance formerly on the Stone Crusher, <br />which has been demolished and exposed of, the Board decided to <br />place this amount as follows: $2000 on Village Hall, and $1500 <br />on the 01d Adams School. <br />Insurance policy amounting to $13,000 issued through the office <br />of Jay 0. Richards was approved. <br />
