' <br />All Members Present. <br />The records of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />The Board considered the matter <br />of placing compensation <br />insurance upon the Town, <br />Hall employees* teachers and librarians <br />and voted to order the <br />following insurance placed <br />through the <br />office of Elmer A. Lord <br />& Co. <br />School Department. <br />$871320. <br />Including Teachers <br />and <br />75. <br />Truant Officer <br />Librarian & Asets. <br />49467. <br />Town Officials & Clerks <br />$ 9,850. <br />Including the <br />following <br />Accountant - <br />X1700 <br />Treasurer <br />1250. <br />Collector <br />1800. <br />Assessors <br />2200, <br />Stenographer <br />1000. <br />11700. <br />Clerk <br />200, <br />Town Clerk <br />Town Engineer <br />$2.250. <br />Outside men <br />$2s413. <br />' <br />Insurance was also placed upon the pay roll of the Parke <br />and Playgrounds department to the amount of $27449 and $225 <br />for instruction to be classified under teachers. <br />Mr. Hill was also authorized to arrange for a blanket <br />policy on boiler insurance* the same to exclude cracks and <br />fractures. <br />At the request of the School Committee Elmer A. Lord & Co. <br />were authorized to place compensation insurance on the two <br />drivers of the horse drawn vehicles based on a paroll of <br />$2100 and on the two chauffeurs on a pay roll of L400. <br />These men are dirvere of school bargee. <br />No action was taken on placing insurance on street signs. <br />In connection with the amendments of the building laws <br />which were approved by the Attorney General. the Clerk was <br />directed to have sufficient slips printed to insert in the <br />Building Law books which are now on hand. <br />Letter was received from residents of Curve Street in ' <br />which they complained of the drainage conditions in that <br />vicinity and asked that the same be remedied. <br />The letter was acknowledged and the residents informed <br />that the matter would have the early attention of the Board. <br />In connection with this Mr. Cotton called attention to <br />drainage conditions on Locust Avenue. <br />
