1 <br />MEETING,,FEB. 21, 1928. <br />All Members Present, <br />The records of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />Mr. Fred Mesuri of Waltham St, came before the Board with <br />reference to his property being under water. He explained that <br />it has been the same way for the last three years and he thinks <br />some thing should be done about the drainage in that vicinity <br />so that the existing conditions could be remedied. <br />The Board agreed to ask Mr. Duffy to make a study of the <br />situation and made a report to the Board. <br />The following election officers were appointed for duty <br />on Feb. 28, 1922, <br />Ballot Clerks, <br />Ralph H. Marshall John J. Garrity <br />Tellers. <br />Walter B. Wilkins Thomas J. Doherty <br />Ezra F. Breed Bartlett J. Harrington <br />Election officers were appointed for duty on March 6th <br />as follows: <br />Ballot Clerks, <br />Ralph H. Marshall John J. Garrity <br />Deputy Ballot Clarke. <br />Marion W. Jackson Katherine A. Kiernan <br />Tellers. <br />Allston <br />M. <br />Redman <br />Samm.el Be Bigelow <br />William <br />E. <br />Mulliken <br />Walter Be Wilkins <br />Ezra F. <br />Breed <br />William C. O'Leary <br />Bartlett J. <br />Harrington <br />Nathaniel Nunn <br />Patrick <br />F. <br />Dacey <br />Thomas J. Doherty <br />Wallace <br />E. <br />Miller <br />James F. McCarthy <br />Mr. James Carroll who had been em loyed at the Almekouse <br />came before the Board and presented a bill for $180 for services <br />due him from the Town for labor at the Almehouse for the months <br />of Nov.Dec. and Jan. He claimed that Mr. Eaton did not tell him <br />that he was not to receive compensation for his services during. <br />these months. Mx. Eaton on the other hand claimed that he told <br />him that he could work for his board during that time. <br />The Board agreed to meet Mr. Carroll at the Almshouse and <br />together with Mr. Eaton take up the matter with the idea of <br />settlement. <br />M <br />
