Am <br />MEETING, NOV. 15, 1921, <br />All Members Present. <br />The records of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />A hearing was declared open upon petition of the Edison <br />Electric 111. Co. for permission to erect two poles on <br />No. Hancock St. approximately 300 ft. west of Burlington St. <br />No persons appearing to objedt it was voted to grant the <br />petition. <br />A hearing was declared open upon petition of the Edison <br />Electric 111. Co. for permission to erect one pole on Cedar <br />St. at the corner of Hamblen St. to supply service to the house <br />of Mr. Biggham. <br />Mr. Bingham came befo2e the Board to speak in favor of <br />the same. Mr. Shaw, Jr. voiced no objection on the part of <br />his father. <br />It was therefor voted to grant the petition. <br />Hearing was also declared open upon application of Albert <br />Mack Simmons of 103 River St, Arlington, Mass, for a gasoline <br />tank on Mass. Avenue in Lexington. The Board discussed the <br />matter and voted not to grant the license. <br />Letter was received from the Motor Specialities Co. of <br />Waltham in which they explained that it would not be possible <br />to send a "portalite" to Lexington tntil.about two weeks as <br />they were in arrears on shipments. Mr. Smith, agent, stated <br />that he could come to Lexington and show the types if the Board <br />desired. <br />Mr. Scamman called attention to the light used by the <br />Fire Department and stated that he thought this kind of light <br />A hearing was declared open upon application of Hans <br />Sorensen for a three car garage on his premises at 92 Woburn <br />St, <br />Mrs. Timothy Leary of 23 Waltham St. who owns the property <br />opposite that of Mr. Sorensen at the cor. of Vine Street <br />objected to a garage being erected on Mr. Sorensen's land at <br />the point designated. She stated that Mr. Sorensen had suffi- <br />cient land on the other side of his house and could have an <br />entrance on Woburn St. Her objection was that the garage would <br />annoy the tenants in her house and thereby keep them from <br />staying there. <br />Mr. Sorensen not being present to discuss the matter it <br />was decided to lay the matter over for one week and ask <br />Mr. Sorensen to be present and also the Building Inspector so <br />that the matter could be talked over. <br />Hearing was also declared open upon application of Albert <br />Mack Simmons of 103 River St, Arlington, Mass, for a gasoline <br />tank on Mass.
