37 <br />I <br />MEETINGS NOV. 1. 1921. <br />All Members Present, <br />The records of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />At the Board's request Mr. C. Caterino of School St. <br />Lexington came before the Board. The Board called his atten- <br />tion to the fact that in fixing his driveway he blocked up the <br />drainage of the street surface water and requested that he fix <br />his driveway in such a way that the surface water will not be <br />stopped. <br />Mr. Caterino again sppoke of the street lights which he <br />requested some time ago. He was informed that the street <br />light appropriation would not allow the Board to place any <br />additional street lights this year. <br />Mr. William W. Ferguson and son came before the Board <br />and presented plans for a proposed extension of Forest St. <br />This proposed extension would be a forty foot street to come <br />out on Mass, Avenue almost opposite Elm Avenue. Mr. Ferguson <br />urged that the Board favor this lay out. <br />The Board informed Mr, Ferguson that they would take <br />the matter up with the Planning Board. <br />The Board voted to grant the use of the Town Hall on <br />the afternoon of Nov. 18th to the Women's Auxiliary of the <br />American Legion for one half the regular charge. <br />Mr. Scamnan called attention to an automobile repair <br />shop run by a Mr. Harmon on Vine Street. Mr. Scamman received <br />complaints that Mr. Harmon was repairing care late at night <br />thereby keeping the neighbors from sleeping, It was decided <br />to call the attention of the Building Inspector to the matter <br />so that he may ascertain whether or not the shop should be <br />used as such under the Building Laws. <br />The bill of $25 sent to the Board by Mr. H. A. Burgess <br />for cleaning cesspools at Webster and Chapin houses was <br />returned to Mr. Burgess for collection from the parties order- <br />ing the work done. <br />In response to the letter of Attorney Edward C. Stone <br />for Charles S. Smith in connection with the claim for land <br />taken for the Schoolhouse at North Lexington, that he meet <br />with the Board and talk the matter over, Mr. Stone was invited <br />' to attend the meeting on Tuesday evening next at 8 o'clock P.M. <br />at which time the Town Counsel was also invited to attend. <br />
