0 <br />MEETING, AUG. 2, 1921. <br />All iiembere Prevent. <br />The records of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />A license was granted to the Paul Revere Garage. <br />Y. N. Cole, Proprietor, to do business at State Road near <br />the junction of Lincoln Street. same being an "Agent's <br />License" as Mr. Uole has the agency for Studebaker care. <br />Letter was received from Mr. 01illiam-H. Burgess in <br />which he enclosed copy of article and vote passed by the <br />town of Falmouth relative to revaluing real estate in that <br />tovm. The Board acknowledged receipt of same and informed <br />Ur. burgess that the matter would have the future consider- <br />ation of the Board. <br />kr. rienr.ich came before the Board again to request <br />Why the residents in his section have not been given the <br />grade of the etreets so that they could construct them for <br />acceptance by the Town. he was informed that owing to the <br />storms the Town Engineer and Supt. of Streets was so busy <br />that he could not get to that work for some time. <br />In connection with placing public utilities in unaccepted <br />streets, the Olerk was directed to write to the town of <br />Arlington asking them to inform us just what methods they <br />use when requested to place public utilities in unaccepted <br />streets. <br />Letter was received from Henry W. 3owman descendent of <br />the Bowman family of the East Village calling attention to <br />the fact that the sign "bowman St." at the junction of <br />Watertown jt. and Bowman Street had rotted away and request- <br />ing a new sign be placed there. The Board considered the <br />matter and voted to place an iron sign to correspond with <br />the signs being placed in the centre of the town at this <br />point. <br />A statement for registration of the Town hall was signed <br />and returned to the Internal Revenue Office. <br />Mr. Ryder was requested to give a legal opinion as to <br />whether or not the right of way from Woburn Street to the <br />Munroe property which was open for sixty years and recently <br />fenced up was still a permanent right of way. <br />1 <br />1 <br />
