The <br /> committee agreed that the larger size was preferable and Lorain asked Carol Flynn to follow up <br /> on ordering them. <br /> Veterans Breakfast, Saturday, November 4, 2017 <br /> • Bill Mix asked if the committee has the Merchant Marine service song. Dick Crogan said he <br /> would find and copy the song for the Veterans Breakfast ceremony. Bill confirmed that he <br /> would order the flag. <br /> • Sandy Podgorski announced that the slide show for the breakfast is now complete. Seventy-five <br /> veterans are included in the slide show. It has now gone for processing. <br /> • The Lexington Rotary will contribute up to $750 to cover the costs for veterans at the breakfast, <br /> so we need to know how many at the breakfast are veterans and how many are guests. <br /> • Karen Gaughan has confirmed that St. Brigid's will let us use their sandwich boards in front and <br /> back entrances to the parking lot to advertise the breakfast. Karen will get the posters printed. <br /> • Lorain has ordered the food for 200 people for the breakfast. <br /> Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017 <br /> Ceremony in Cary Hall <br /> • Lorain reported that there are 3 possible responders to the request for High School students to <br /> participate in the ceremony. <br /> Other Reports <br /> Dance Around the World: Geetha announced that the March 3, 2018 date for Dance Around the <br /> World is confirmed. She is in the process of finding volunteers to assist in the planning. She plans to <br /> put an article in the Minuteman and Colonial Times asking for participation from community groups. <br /> Patriots Weekend: <br /> • Lorain mentioned that the Town is asking for TCC's rules and regulations about which type of <br /> parade units are allowed and not allowed. <br /> • Lorain mentioned that the online parade unit application is not live yet but that she hopes to get <br /> it completed and available online soon. <br />
