<br />Community Preservation Committee <br />Minutes of June 7, 2006 meeting <br /> <br />Present: Leo McSweeney, Joel Adler, Norman Cohen, Betsey Weiss, Marilyn Fenollosa, <br />Richard Pagett, Sandra Shaw, Dick Wolk, Wendy Manz <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 5:05 PM <br /> <br />After discussion of explanatory newspaper CPA article and funding applications <br />modifications were made and a final version of each document was unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br />Web site: changes and updates were discussed by Betsey <br /> <br />Tax inclusion brochure: The brochure is about to be completed and copies are to be <br />included with the tax notices. Version 7 of the brochure was unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Needs assessment: Betsey requested that we review the Newton and Wellesley web sites <br />and their needs assessment documents to better understand the nature of the required <br />document that we will need. It will probably fall to each of the commissions primarily <br />affected by the act to create their portion of the assessment document. <br /> <br />Minutes of the 5/17/06 meeting were unanimously approved as amended. <br /> <br />New business: There was discussion about the possibility of two land parcels that may be <br />available for acquisition. <br /> <br />Next meeting: June 21, 2006 at 5 PM in the Selectmens’ Room <br /> <br />
