<br />Community Preservation Committee Minutes <br /> <br />April 19, 2006 <br /> <br />Attending: Joel Adler, Norman Cohen, Marilyn Fenollosa, Wendy Manz, <br />Leo McSweeney, Richard Pagett, Sandy Shaw, Betsey Weiss <br /> <br />Not Attending: Dick Wolk <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. <br /> <br />1. Insert in July Tax Bill <br /> <br />It has been confirmed that we can insert a piece in the July tax bill explaining the Community <br />Preservation Act and how it will work in Lexington. A sample statement by the Town of <br />Sudbury was passed out. Marilyn and Betsey will work on the Lexington statement. <br /> <br />2. Report to 2006 Annual Town Meeting <br /> <br />Committee approved minor changes to the report to be given to the current town meeting. <br /> <br />3. Project Application Process <br /> <br />The Committee went over in some detail the application process which was presented in draft <br />form by Richard and Sandy. It was agreed that Sandy would incorporate the suggestions made <br />by the Committee and that a new draft would be considered at the next meeting. <br /> <br />4. Website <br /> <br />A discussion was had as to whether the Committee should have its own website or be included <br />on the Town’s website. It was agreed that Marilyn and Betsey will make a list of what should be <br />on the website and submit it to the Town for incorporation onto the Town’s website. <br /> <br />5. Minutes <br /> <br />It was moved and seconded to approve the minutes of March 30, 2006 and April 5, 2006. <br /> <br />6. Next Meeting <br /> <br />The next meeting will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />It was moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />Norman P.
