2 <br /> <br />Vote to Recommend FY25 Funding Requests to ATM – After a motion duly made and <br />seconded, the Committee voted by a roll call vote to approve dollar amounts for FY25 funding. <br />The CPC issued votes on the projects as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Cary Memorial Library Renovation - $2,300,000 (9-0) <br />(b) Archives and Records Management – $20,000 (9-0) <br />(c) Open Space Property Acquisition – TBD (HOLD)* <br />(d) Park Improvements – Athletic Fields – Bowman School – $545,000 (9-0) <br />(e) Lincoln Park Fitness Stations Equipment – $160,000 (9-0)** <br />(f) Park Improvements – Hard Court Surfaces – Valley Rd – $492,000 (9-0) <br />(g) Lincoln Park Field Improvements – $1,145,000 (7-2)*** <br />(h) LexHAB Support, Restoration, Preservation, and Decarbonization – $482,365 (9-0) <br />(i) Lexington Housing Authority 561/563 Massachusetts Ave Exterior Preservation – <br />$100,000 (9-0) <br />(j) Affordable Housing Trust Pre-Funding – $3,200,000 (9-0) <br />(k) Projected Debt Service – $681,200 (9-0) <br />(l) Administrative Budget – $150,000 (9-0) <br /> <br />*The Committee agreed to postpone a vote on the Open Space Property Acquisition until the <br />Committee receives an update from the applicant. [The property acquisition was withdrawn by <br />the applicant on December 19th.] <br /> <br />**Ms. Battite shared that the Recreation Committee plans to request 25% ($40,000) of the <br />project’s cost from the Trustees of the Public Trusts and hopes to have an answer from the <br />Trust by the 2024 Annual Town Meeting. Ms. Krieger noted that funding requests can be <br />reduced at Town Meeting, so the Committee could change the amount for the Fitness St ations <br />depending on the Trust’s response. <br /> <br />***Ms. Krieger and Mr. Sandeen voted no due to their opposition to the Town’s usage of <br />artificial turf. <br /> <br />Review Draft of 2024 ATM Warrant – After a motion duly made and seconded, the Committee <br />voted by roll call vote to approve the draft of the Warrant to 2024 Annual Town Meeting <br />excluding the Open Space Property Acquisition (9-0). <br /> <br />Ms. Fenollosa commented that the Committee will have to vote to amend the Warrant in the <br />event of a Committee vote on the acquisition. <br /> <br />Ms. Beebee and Ms. Rhodes left the meeting at 5:28 PM. <br />
