Ave. <br />Lexington, MA 02420 <br />Re: Neighborhood Conservation District (NCD) Name Change <br />Dear Ms. Rice, <br />.uElj'V ED <br />JUN --5 PM I.36 <br />LEXINGTON <br />As instructed, I am writing to request that the Byron/Lockwood/Mass. Ave. Neighborhood <br />Conservation District be known in the future as the Pierce -Lockwood NCD. We apologize for <br />any inconvenience. Not really having the background needed to choose an appropriate name <br />in the beginning, we just made sure that the three streets were included. After studying the <br />history, the Study Committee decided that Pierce -Lockwood was shorter, more appropriate, <br />and more elegant. <br />The new name was voted unanimously at our meeting on April 18, 2017. <br />Thank you very much for your consideration and for instructions regarding the submission <br />of meeting materials going forward. The archive for meeting minutes and the Planning Board <br />website is not terribly up-to-date at this time, but I hope to have that remedied very soon.
