<br />Lexington Human Rights Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 4, 2015 <br />Present <br />: Al Zabin, Aidan Evelyn, Jim Barry, Sean Osborne, Fuang-Ying Huang, Bhumip <br />Bonnie Brodner, <br />Khasnabish, Jeffrey Toronto, Judy Crocker, Charlotte Rogers, Kristie <br />Demirev, and Pastor Brent Maracle <br />Meeting held at Lexington Community Center, Room 237 at 8:00 a.m. <br />Committee reviewed the HRC’s flyer with a couple of changes; add “Celebrate” to the first <br />paragraph on the first panel “Building a stronger community that recognizes, respects and <br />celebrates…” and to change to the color of the text on second panel from green to black for easy <br />reading. <br />Sean complied and shared with the committee the “2016 Goal and Steps to Achieve Them”. A <br />Saturday afternoon retreat in Feb is to be scheduled in order to further discuss the action items. <br />Members are encouraged to make reading suggestions to Lexington Library’s book club that <br />promotes the goal of the community. <br />No incident report from the Police dept. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9: 30 AM. <br />The next meeting is on Jan. 8, 2016 at 8:00AM <br />
