ii <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> r MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 13, 1993 <br /> The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15, Town Office <br /> Building, was called to order at 8 00 p m. by Chairman Williams, with members <br /> Canale, Grant, Planning Director Bowyer,and Assistant Planner Marino present. <br /> Mr Domnitz and Mrs. Davison arrived during Item 119 <br /> 119 Review of Minutes The Board reviewed and corrected the minutes for the <br /> meeting of August 16, 1993 On the motion of Mr Canale, seconded by Mrs <br /> Davison, it was voted 4-0 to approve the minutes, as amended. <br /> The Board reviewed and corrected the minutes for the meeting of August 31, <br /> 1993 On the motion of Mr. Canale, seconded by Mr. Grant, it was voted 5-0 to <br /> approve the minutes, as amended. <br /> ******************* PLANNING BOARD ORGANIZATION, SCHEDULE ******************* <br /> 120. Meeting Schedule for October The Board set meetings for October 4, 18 <br /> and 25 They also agreed to discuss the final draft of the Development <br /> Regulations at their meeting on September 27, 1993. <br /> The Board received a letter from Carter Scott informing them he had staked the <br /> site of his proposed subdivision at 669 Massachusetts Avenue as requested by <br /> the Board. The Board agreed to meet there for a site walk at 6 45 p m. prior <br /> to its meeting on September 27, 1993 at 7 30 p.m <br /> ***************** ADMINISTRATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ************ <br /> DETERMINATION OF GRADE AND CONSTRUCTION OF UNACCEPTED STREETS <br /> 121. 75 Outlook Drive. CUS 93/1 The Planning Board discussed a preliminary <br /> plan to improve a part of the unaccepted portion of Outlook Drive with the <br /> applicant, Paul Shafer, and the current owners of the lot, Mr and Mrs <br /> Halfman Mr Shafer proposes to subdivide the lot into two, which will <br /> trigger the requirement for improving the street Though this <br /> portion of <br /> Outlook Drive is unaccepted, there are accepted portions on either side The <br /> unaccepted portion is between two accepted public sections of Outlook Drive. <br /> There are two choices 1) to improve to Town standards the length of the road <br /> required by the regulations; or, 2) to improve a greater distance of the <br /> street to a lesser degree <br /> The Board indicated that they are awaiting the comments of the Town Engineer, <br /> but expressed the desire to retain as many trees as possible, and will consid- <br /> er alternate locations for the sidewalk with this in mind In respone to <br /> members' questions, Mr Shafer said he had no plans to further subdivide the <br /> land in the future; he intends to live in the large house now on the lot <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS ON APPLICATIONS TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> 122 Applications To Be Heard on September 23 1993 Mr Domnitz gave an <br /> oral review of the following applications <br />
