PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF MARCH 17, 1993 <br /> The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room 216, Clarke Middle <br /> School, was called to order at 7 09 p m. by Chairman Williams, with members <br /> Canale, Davison, Domnitz, Grant, Planning Director Bowyer, and Secretary Tap <br /> present. <br /> *********************** ARTICLES FOR 1993 TOWN MEETING *********************** <br /> 38 Article 24, Golf in Residential Districts After discussion, on the <br /> motion of Mr. Canale, seconded by Mrs. Davison, the Board voted 4-0 to approve <br /> the report to Town Meeting. Mr Grant abstained. <br /> 39. Article 26. Minor Revision Procedures After some discussion, on the <br /> motion of Mr. Canale, seconded by Mr Domnitz, the Board voted unanimously, to <br /> approve the report to Town Meeting, as amended. <br /> 40 Article 28 Drainage The Board reviewed a draft report dated March 15, <br /> 1993. After a brief discussion, on the motion of Mrs. Davison, seconded by <br /> Mr. Grant, the Board voted unanimously to approve the report to Town Meeting, <br /> as amended. <br /> 41 Article 30. RO to RD. Lowell Street The Board reviewed a draft report <br /> dated March 12, 1993 and a zoning and site development analysis dated March <br /> 17, 1993. There was some discussion about the traffic study. Mr Canale <br /> noted that the quantitative data on gaps was missing from the study. He would <br /> like the numbers for page 13 of the traffic analysis included in the report. <br /> On the motion of Mr Domnitz, seconded by Mr. Canale, the Board voted 4-1, Mr. <br /> Grant opposed, to approve the report to Town Meeting, as amended. <br /> 42. Article 31. CM to CD. Westview Street The Board reviewed a draft <br /> report dated March 12, 1993. After some discussion, on the notion of Mrs <br /> Davison, seconded by Mr Williams, the Board voted unanimously to approve the <br /> report to Town Meeting, as amended. <br /> Mr. Domnitz suggested the Planning Board might support a rezoning of the land <br /> to the RO One Family zoning district in another year so that Mr. Richardson <br /> would have some use of the land. Mr. Bowyer cautioned that his lot does not <br /> meet the minimum lot area for that zoning district and the status of the lot <br /> as grandfathered should be verified before offering a solution that might not <br /> work out <br /> ********************************** REPORTS ********************************** <br /> Planning Board. Subcommittees <br /> 43. Met State Undate Mr. Bowyer said that the Met State task force will be <br /> reporting to the Selectmen in preparation for a tri-town meeting. Mr , <br /> Williams added that the MDC will be making a more solid proposal for the part <br /> of the site that they want. <br />
