PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF MARCH 16, 1992 <br /> The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15, Town Office <br /> Building, was called to order at 7 35 p m. by the Chairman, Mr. Williams, with <br /> members, Davison, Grant, Wood, Planning Director Bowyer, Assistant Planner <br /> Marino and Secretary Tap present. Mr Domnitz and arrived during Item 49. <br /> ************************ PLANNING DIRECTOR'S REPORT *********************** <br /> 44. Recent Activity <br /> a. National Tire Wholesale Traffic Study• Planning Director Bowyer <br /> reported that he had received the Traffic Study prepared for National <br /> Tire Wholesale in its application for a special permit at 581 Marrett <br /> Road. <br /> b. Met State Land Use Mr. Williams reported there will be a meeting <br /> of the Metropolitan State Hospital Land Use Task Force on Wednesday, <br /> March 25, 1992 at 3 00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room in the Town <br /> Office Building <br /> ***************** ADMINISTRATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ************ <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS ON APPLICATIONS TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> 45. Annlications To Be Heard on March 26. 1992 Mrs. Wood gave an oral <br /> review of the following applications <br /> Seasons Four. 1265 Mass Avenue. Renewal of a Special Permit._ The <br /> Board agreed to recommend that business hours be consistent with those <br /> of the other garden centers in town, with the condition that the closing <br /> hour be no later than 8 00 p.m ; that a condition be placed in the <br /> Special Permit that prohibits the sign on Massachusetts Avenue from <br /> being lit during non-business hours; and that a condition be placed in <br /> the Special Permit that prohibits parking between the bike path on the <br /> railroad right-of-way and Massachusetts Avenue The Board feels that <br /> prohibiting parking in this area is especially important now that work <br /> on the bike path has begun The Board also will recommend that particu- <br /> lar attention be paid to any complaints from abutters regarding <br /> spillover lighting from the rear of the operation. <br /> The Board agreed to make no comment on the applications below also scheduled <br /> to be heard by the Board of Appeals on March 26, 1992 <br /> Thomas and Kathleen Rizzo 29 Hillcrest Avenue. Special Permit to add a <br /> second floor over a nonconforming portion of a single family dwelling <br /> Three A's, Inc. , d/h/a. Chadwick's 903 Waltham St Special Permit to <br /> internally illuminate a window sign <br /> Z£I <br />
