PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF MARCH 2, 1992 <br /> The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room 111, Town Office <br /> Building, was called to order at 7:36 p.m. by the Chairman, Mr. Williams, with <br /> members, Davison, Domnitz, Grant, Wood, Planning Director Bowyer, and Assis- <br /> tant Planner Marino present. <br /> ************************ PLANNING DIRECTOR'S REPORT *********************** <br /> 31 Recent Activity• <br /> a. Law Lectures Mr. Bowyer asked Board members interested in attending <br /> any of the upcoming MAPC Municipal Law Lectures to notify the office. <br /> h Precinct Redistricting: Mr. Bowyer reported that Mr. Marino will he <br /> working with the Town Clerk on precinct redistricting Mr. Marino will also <br /> join the Engineering Department, at their request, for two days of training on <br /> the newly purchased autocad system. <br /> *********************** ARTICLES FOR 1992 TOWN MEETING *********************** <br /> 32. Article 21 Private Postal Services On the motion of Mr. Domnitz, <br /> seconded by Mrs. Davison, the Board voted unanimously to recommend that the <br /> Town Meeting approve the proposed amendment, dated February 27, 1992, and to <br /> approve the report as amended. The Board instructed the staff to send a <br /> letter to Paul Lieberman of Mail Boxes, Etc. inviting him to attend the Town <br /> Meeting sessions on March 23 and 25 to be available to answer questions if <br /> they arise. <br /> 33. Article 20. Pet Grooming' Mr. Bowyer explained that some technical <br /> changes to the amendment were made since the public hearing The changes <br /> involve allowing pet grooming as a principal use and the wording regarding kk <br /> "conducted within a building " On the motion of Mr. Domnitz, seconded by Mrs. <br /> Davison, the Board voted unanimously to recommend that the Town Meeting <br /> approve the proposed amendment, dated February 27, 1992, and to approve the <br /> report as amended. <br /> 34 Article 22. Dimensional Controls. Institutional Uses On the motion of <br /> Mr. Domnitz, seconded by Mrs. Davison, the Board voted to recommend that the <br /> Town meeting approve the proposed amendment, dated February 27, 1992, as <br /> amended <br /> 35. Article 23, Adjustments Signs Mrs Davison reported that she had <br /> called the Town of Concord Building Department to discuss their sign provi- <br /> sions Concord puts much effort into enforcement and feels that it is the key <br /> to acceptable signage. <br />
