PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF APRIL 23, 1990 <br /> The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in the Room G-15, Town Office <br /> Building, was called to order at 7:09 p.m. by the Chairman, Mrs. Wood, with <br /> members Domnitz, Klauminzer, Uhrig, Williams, Assistant Planner Nordby and <br /> Secretary Peters present. <br /> ********************* ARTICLES FOR 1990 TOWN MEETING ******************* <br /> 101. Article 55. Review of Draft Planning Board Report The Board reviewed a <br /> draft, dated April 18, 1990, making corrections. Mrs. Wood noted that the <br /> objective is to come up with a consensus report of the majority. The Board <br /> agreed to vote on the revised report on Wednesday, April 25, 1990. <br /> 102. Article 56. Review of Draft Planning Board Report The Board reviewed a <br /> draft, dated April 18, 1990, making corrections. The staff was directed to <br /> prepare the report following the same format used in the Article 55 Planning <br /> Board report, incorporating comments from the base outline of the Article 55 <br /> report, and including the corrections made in that report, where pertinent. <br /> The Board agreed to vote on the revised report for Article 56 on Wednesday, <br /> April 25, 1990. <br /> ************* ADMINISTRATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ************* <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS ON APPLICATIONS TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> 103. Hearings Scheduled for Mav 10 1990: Mr. Williams gave an oral review <br /> of the following applications to be heard by the Board of Appeals. <br /> 229-331 Marrett Road, Giuseppe Raponi, variances to allow construction <br /> of an addition for commercial use on the east side of an existing two <br /> family dwelling, located in the CN district, with a floor area ratio of <br /> .35, instead of the required .20, and two stories instead of the <br /> required one story. Mr. Williams reported the applicant wishes to <br /> enlarge the existing dwelling rather than tear it down and rebuild a <br /> more modern structure. He noted that if this were done, the applicant <br /> could only rebuild a one story building and would have to conform to all <br /> of the zoning requirements of the CN zoning district, including conform- <br /> ing to a smaller FAR. On the motion of Mr. Williams, seconded by Mrs. <br /> Klauminzer, it was voted 5-0 to recommend the application be denied <br /> since none of the statutory criteria, relating to soil conditions or <br /> topography, that are required for granting a variance, has been <br /> demonstrated. <br /> 16 Round Hill Road, Byron & Paula Blanchard, SP, to install a satellite <br /> receiving antenna on the north slope of the roof of a single family <br /> dwelling. Mr. Williams reported the applicant said that the excessive <br /> number of trees prevented him receiving satisfactory reception if the <br />
