PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF APRIL 12, 1989 <br /> The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15, Town Office <br /> Building, was called to order at 7: 20 p.m. by the Chairman, Mrs. Uhrig, with <br /> members Klauminzer, Sorensen, Williams, Wood, Planning Director Bowyer and <br /> Assistant Planner Nordby present. <br /> ********************* ARTICLES FOR 1989 TOWN MEETING ********************* <br /> 113. ARTICLE 44 - Sheraton CD, Marrett Road: Mr. Bowyer distributed a copy of <br /> the Preliminary Site Development and Use Plan, dated April 12, 1989, contain- <br /> ing conditions which the Board had requested, including those discussed with <br /> the Flatley Company at the April 5 meeting. Mr. Sorensen objected to the last <br /> sentence in the third paragraph on the first page, which reads " Subsequent <br /> amendments to the Zoning By-Law shall not apply to this District." <br /> The Board reviewed and corrected a draft Planning Board report on Article 44, <br /> dated April 12, 1989. <br /> On the motion of Mrs. Wood, seconded by Mrs. Klauminzer, it was voted 5-0: <br /> 1) to recommend to Town Meeting that the proposed CD rezoning be <br /> approved , provided the applicant amends the draft Preliminary Site <br /> Development and Use Plan, dated April 11, 1989, submitted by deleting <br /> the last sentence in the third paragraph on the first page, which reads <br /> "Subsequent amendments to the Zoning By-Law shall not apply to this <br /> District," and <br /> 2) to approve the Planning Board report on Article 44, as amended. <br /> ******************** REPORTS ********************************************* <br /> 114. Planning Director <br /> a. Article 45 - Hilton CD, Hartwell Avenue: Mr. Bowyer reported there <br /> is an error in the Planning Board report overstating the difference in <br /> traffic generated, between an office building on the site and a hotel, <br /> that needs to be corrected when Article 45 is presented at Town Meeting. <br /> He suggested, and the Board agreed, that he explain this promptly as <br /> soon as Chairman Uhrig files the Planning Board report with the Town <br /> Clerk, before the general debate begins. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 7: 50 p.m. <br /> / ) <br /> Eleanor Klauminzer, Clerk <br /> J <br /> 1 <br />
